A number of small departmental libraries in our organization are using only the 'catalog' textbase from the Library module. When they were setup they were provided with the structure for the catalog textbase, and at that time they were given unique names, reflecting the library name.
One of those libraries would now like to incorporate their 'pollib' textbase into the library module. I expect we would have to rename the 'pollib' textbase to 'catalog', or would we be able to rename internal references to 'catalog' to the revised name 'pollib' thus permitting them the option of using such features as the loans / borrowers that they currently do not have? Any advise for this process would be welcome. Thanks |

I think your best bet is to rename 'pollib' to 'catalog'. There are a lot of internal as well as hard-coded library module references to 'catalog'. Any attempt to track them all down could lead to possible psychosis, in my medical opinion.
