Hi!
Thanks for the quick response. I feel on the verge of fixing this glitch. Just to double-check, what should be in the form field 'Term'? My suspicion is that the field in our form was tampered with. I put 'Term of loan' there, although that has not changed the error message. It does, however, calculate when the loan is due. Insights, anyone? Thanks! Yes, the Term box is supposed to contain the 'Term of Loan' field.
However, there are also several scripts that use the Term box. One populates the Permanent box with "Yes" if you leave the Term of Loan box empty. Another, creates the Catalog and Loans records. The Due Date is calculated using a Computed Number field, unrelated to scripts. The message you're getting is caused by a problem with the scripts. One of the boxes a script needs may be missing or not named correctly. Check the Form Script>Names tab and make sure it shows (not necessarily in this order): boxBorrower boxItems boxTerm boxPerm boxClass If all those boxes are there, I'd really recommend getting the original form from Inmagic Support, rather than trying to diagnose the problem piecemeal. |

It worked!
It turns out that boxPerm and boxClass were there, but not labelled (Who knows how that happened!). Anyway, now the library is back up and working. Many, many thanks Lisa! Have a great day, M.M., Library Technician, Progress Centre Library mmatheson@progresscentre.com |
