Hallo,

I am using DB/TextWorks for Libraries, and all has been going very smoothly until recently. Lately, though, I keep getting an error message whenever I try to lend an item: "This form has been modified so that the necessary transactions are no longer supported".

I find that odd, especially considering that the form is the same as it has always been. My first thought was to dive into the form editing screen and see if there was anything wrong, but I could not find anything. Now, I am looking to simply reset the form to its default settings. Unfortunately, I have no clue where to find them.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone know where to find the default form?

Many thanks in advance. I cannot wait to get our library up and running again.

If you have a Product Support contract, you can email support, and they will send you the original form. If not, your may need to reinstall DB/Text for Libraries into a different directory (do not overwrite your existing textbases), open that original copy of the textbase, and use Maintain>Manage Textbase Elements to export the form.

However, if you really haven't changed the form, the problem may not be the form itself. You may have renamed or deleted fields in the textbase structure, or applied a password which hides fields the form script uses without adding the password to the form script.
