Take a look at the database we maintain of publicly accessible sites using Inmagic's WebPublisher software - http://www.andornot.com/WebPubLinks/

The design and sophistication of these sites varies considerably but should give you an idea of some of the possibilities. Alternately you could consider Inmagic Genie or Genie Express which have a predefined web interface reducing the design skills needed to create a good looking site.
