Hi!
Thanks again for all your help with the last library crisis. This time I have a fluffy question with very little overall importance, but one that nevertheless tickles my mind to find a solution. On our loans screen (It's always the loans screen, isn't it?) I have it set up to display a picture of the item being loaned when its barcode is scanned in (In order for the picture to appear, one has to put the cursor into another field). It works wonderfully, and I am very happy with it. When I scan in a second item, though, the first picture disappears and no new picture comes up. Is there any way to show two pictures at once, or at least cycle through the pictures of scanned items? As I said before, this is not a vital issue. I have just always wondered why one picture seemed to be the most that the computer was willing to give me. Many thanks! Matthew Matheson Progress Centre for Early Intervention. |

Is this on the desktop or on the Web?
Are you using a picture box to display the image? Picture boxes only show the first image in the field. There is no other option on the desktop, except to bring up the Images window (choose Display>Show Record Images). On the Web, you can use the Inline Image option, which will show all images in the field. But I'm not sure how well it works on an edit page, and it uses the original sizes of the images. |

Hi again!
Thanks for the tip. For the record, I was using it on the desktop. Of course, since one has the item right there when signing it out, the picture is not a big deal. Matthew Matheson Progress Centre for Early Intervention. |
