Does anyone know how to bookmark in a canned search? Is that possible at all and if, how?

Example:

We list new books on one page and display just an image with title of new arrivals on a different page. When you click on the image of the new title (canned search behind it) it brings you to the top of the page of the new resources list where this title is listed but we would like to bookmark it directly to the title in the list.

Any help is appreciated.
