After 6 years of having a one user licence for DBTextworks I am now working on launching an online interface to my library catalogue. I've designed the layout of what users will see when they retrieve records. However I'm stuck on how to merge multiple copies of a title, so I only get ONE record with a holdings statement. The vendor said that there are two options 1) a relational link OR he said I can go into Form Designer and Sort headers. I've read the instructions and have had a preliminary play but records are not being merged. Has anyone else done this before?

One way would be to combine accession numbers or bar codes in one record using F7 as you add.Then in the reporting form have a calculated value using formula 'fcount("bar code"' You could also add another formula 'fcount("items out")' to show your clientele how many copies are available and how many are out on loan.
