Hello,

I'm trying to setup Inmagic version 6.01 to work with barcodes to scan in our books. I have setup a field in the catalog for the Barcode number and placed a barcode number for one book as a test. I want to make it so that my check out and check in screens have a barcode field. Then someone just has to scan the book (placing the barcode into the field) and then the book information is automatically placed on screen. I created a field in my check out form and it's linked to the Catalog ID number. However, I can not type into the barcode box. How can I set this up so that I can type/scan into the barcode box on my check out form? I still want the program to know that "ok, if he/she scans/enters barcode 99999999999999 in the bar code field on the check out form then I need to pull up information for a book with a call number of XXXXX"
