User needs to modify on edit textbase structure but it was grayout. How do we make this option active again? Do you think if this has to do with the Master or silent passwords set on the db/text? If users forgot the passwords or have never set any passwords, what can we do to enable the options?
Please help.... |

It is likley that there are passwords and the users are not aware of them. To ascertain if this is the case, open a textbase, then click on File - Use Different Password. If the Primary Textbase or Secondary textbase options are not greyed out, then there must be at least a Master Password and a silent password.
Inmagic has a means of supplying a special "Trapdoor password" that enables you to get into a textbase and reset your passwords. Contact your Inmagic supplier for details. Norma Maxus Australia Authorised Inmagic Partner |
