I spent awhile yesterday trying to write a report format that didn't have a line break between records. I eventually worked out the paragraphs tab under Form Box Properties wasn't relevant, and you need to go Tools > Form Properties where the default distance between records is 3.80mm, which translates into a single line break, and change it to zero.

Maybe I should do this more often, because I then had a deja vu moment and remembered being misled by the Paragraphs tab once before. Perhaps a see reference in the index of the manual might help: Line breaks between records see Distance between records!

I spent about 2 hours yesterday trying to work out how to seperate subject headings in the display screen using both the online help and the manual, per the instructions about Box Properties. Have tried resetting paragraph, using delimiters etc but nothing has worked so far.Hopefully someone else will have encountered the same problem and has posted a solution.
