I was told that Content Server cannot run on a Novell server. Is this the case also with DB TW 8.0? I've always run DB TW happily on Novell.

Last I knew, Novell is just a file server, so if you can get the software onto it, it should run fine. The only issue may be that the install doesn't like to be run remotely. You need to be sitting at the server to install the software or you get errors. And I don't know how practical that is with a Novell server.

I believe the reason you may have been told Content Server won't run on a Novell server is that SQL Server won't run on a Novell server. In theory, you could have the Content Server installation directory on the Novell server and the SQL Server on a Microsoft Windows server. But that's not a supported configuration, so you'd be on your own getting it set up.
