I want my long dates to appear as "04 Sep 2008" but they are appearing at "04 September 2008" when I press F4 when entering data in a form

My database is looking in the correct .ini file and the long date format reads:
sLongDate=DD/MMM/YYYY

Is there any other settings to adjust this or am I stuck with September not Sep?

In case anyone else is having the same problem it was very simple to fix. In box properties (in form designer)under the format tab and "Numbers, Dates" there is a drop down box called "Date Format" - on my form this box was set to "long date" and when I changed it to "none" it displayed the dates correctly.

It still doesn't display right in the Edit window (I believe this is Microsoft Control Panel setting which I don't have the rights to alter) but that doesn't bother me too much as we don't print from that form
