Is there a way of accessing the textbase data by packaging something with an application so that wherever it runs it does not need the ODBC driver installed?

Addition...we need to have an application installed on many people's computers, and this application needs to query a value in the textbase based on some criteria. Installing the ODBC driver on every machine is not feasible, so I'm wondering if there isn't away to package something with the app, is there a way of referencing a server with the ODBC driver installed or something to that effect?
