I can enter my databases. However, when I try to get records, the following error message comes up:
DBtext32 has caused an error in DBTEXT32.EXE. It will now close.

The next error message says the problem is in file MFC42.DLL.

How can I fix this?

If you're running Win95/98/ME, try setting V4Repair=1 in the [Inmagic DB/TextWorks] section of your INMAGIC.INI file. Be sure to close all copies of DB/TextWorks before modifying this file.

If that does not fix the problem, you probably have multiple copies of MFC42.DLL on your hard drive or network. Only one copy should exist, and that should reside in your Windows System directory.
