If a user has enabled the new feature of 'Spell Checking as you type' only found in DBTextworks Version 4.2, there is a problem that may go undetected by the user.
One of its features it to automatically correct misspelled words like "tpye" to change to "type" as you type. The problem is the checker doesn't wait for a space or period but as soon as you type the characters. For example, if you type "relat" to spell "relative" it sees "rela" and converts it to "real", so in your text, it now says "realt". The autocorrect items are found in correct.tlx text file. In order to temporarily disable this feature without disabling 'Check Spelling as you type'(until a fix is supplied) mistype a word in a text field, click 'Tools' - 'Spell Check'. When the 'Check Spelling' box pops up, Click Options and disable 'Auto Correct'. ------------------ David K.
