Hi,

we're just going through the throws of upgrading all our TextBases to DB/TextWorks v6.01 (from v4.2) and WebPublisher v5.2 (from v4.01).

We've got a large number of DBs that are actually subsets of a larger single DB (broken down by firm), that have the same basic reports. We took a shortcut and basically just copied the same .TBA file for each DB from the master.

However, we've since made a couple of minor DB structure changes to the master DB and propogated this down to SOME of the small DBs that needed it (added a new ImageRef field).

When DB/TextWorks v4.x comes across a field (in the reports in the .TBA file) that it doesn't know about, it just substitutes it for the first field in the DB structure. Which is fine 99% of the time.

However, DB/TextWorks v6.01 (only version tested) deletes the form box from the report (when you attempt to display the form in the designer). It does tell you that it had to recover the report, but doesn't tell you that it's removed a box from the form.

Has anyone else come across this? Is it a bug or a feature? It would be nice if it could tell the user what it's removed.
