This error has been around for a while and have told our distributors. We cannot import more than about 1500 text documents at a time, as it appears the text box for selecting the files has an upward limit of 32000chars(? just a guess). Our file names are up to about 20 chars in length. Can this be fixed to import more in one go?

Have you considered using the DB/Text PowerPack Importer, which will import all the documents in a specified directory?

That dialog is Microsoft's and the limitation is theirs.

It's part of a separate product, called DB/Text PowerPack, that you can purchase from Inmagic Sales (sales@inmagic.com) or your local dealer. It may only come as part of a Web package; I'm not sure.

For Content Server, it's included on the Content Server installation CD.
