Our information service creates daily current awareness bulletins, using the Write Report to File, HTML facility.

After upgrading to DB/T 4.2, we have been experiencing problems in creating the report. The HTML output no longer includes all the information that should be included. It is excluding one particular field that should show "relevant websites" that we have listed.

A second report that we have also had problems with, only shows the first record. The remainder of the HTML file just contains the record separator lines.

It is possible to write an HTML report, using the Send file option and then selecting HTML attachment. The peculiar thing is, that if we select this option, the reports are created perfectly, with no problem.

The information that seems to be affected is that which has had a sort header or footer applied to it - although I have not had the chance to test this extensively.

I have restored back to version 4.3 and the Write to File option is okay in the previous version, but I now miss the online URL links within the database, which I have been finding very convenient

Could you zip up and email me small example textbases which demonstrate both problems? I think I may have reproduced at least one of the problems you've reported but I want copies of your forms/data to make sure.
