We use DB?TextWorks 4.1 with multiple network users, and sometimes when updating or entering a new record, the program freezes up for about 5 minutes. After it has 'defrosted' we get a '11000000 updates pending' (usually around 11 million). We have to close DB and re-open, and lose whatever we were working on. Any clues??

If you're getting a huge number of updates pending showing on your status bar, that means your network connection got broken. If it happens often, your network connection is dangerously unreliable/unstable. For example, you might have a bad network interface card or a loose wire.
