Hi

Just tried using webpublisherpro sample textbase cars and tried to edit and save a record.

Tried edit record and found the following javascript message "Cannot move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus."

Clicked the "Submit record" and got the following error message. "Your record was rejected" "Reason: Field must have a value: Product-Number. "

How do I fix this issue and make the update record successful?

Are you using Firefox? The contents of the read-only boxes in WebPublisher Edit screens are not read by Firefox, so Edit is not supported in Firefox.

The Product Number field is the Match field for editing purposes, so its box is read-only to ensure that the correct record is updated on Save.

Thanks for your response. I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 as my browser and I got the error.

I am not using firefox. Why is it affecting IE?
