Hi, all.
My co-worker and I are just learning to use WebPublisher PRO. The other day we went to edit a form used on our intranet for data entry. Meanwhile, it seems as if some forms were deleted within the database which we are just now finding out they are needed for those web pages. We still have the actual HTML pages. Is there a way to import these back into the database so that we don't have to re-create the forms? Thank you in advance! |

The Export Query Screen to HTML or Export Editing Form to HTML process is one-way. There's no way to import the HTML files and have them somehow re-create the original form or query screen. (The forms & query screens are not HTML inside the textbase; they contain a lot more information than the exported HTML.)
If you don't have have backup from before the forms and/or query screens were deleted, you'll need to recreate them using the Form Designer or Query Screen Designer. However, you may simply be able to edit the exported HTML files with a text editor, depending on what changes you need to make. The form or query screen does not need to exist inside the textbase for the external HTML pages to work. The only exception to this rule is an HTML query screen that uses Web Multiple Textbase Query. |
