Hi there
We are moving our web site to 64-bit Windows Server 2003 and I am wondering if anyone else has Web Publisher currently running on this, and if so, did you have any issues getting it to work? Any feedback much appreciated Thanks in advance Dave |

I tried updating to our CS Web Publisher Pro to Windows 2003-64 bit over the weekend. The error message I received was "%1 is not a valid Win 32 application". A web search indicates you can not run 32 bit dlls under the 64-bit .net framework. I'm still researching this.

David Wang has a good article on this at http://blogs.msdn.com/david.wang/archive/2006/06/27/HOW...n-64bit-Windows.aspx.
My understanding is anything low-level, like an isapi filter, needs to be compiled for 64-bit support to work correctly in a 64-bit environment. IIS 6.0 can be set to run as 32-bit, but everything on the web must then run as 32-bit. |

IIS 7 has the ability to run 32-bit and 64-bit worker processes simultaneously. I.e. consider moving to Windows Server 2008 x64.
