There is a page view webpart in SharePoint which basically creates an iFrame so that you can include other external webpages. I had a quick search of the library catalogue on one such page that worked fine in IE7 with Window XP but now that I am on Windows Vista I just get the following error when trying to do a quick keyword search "CS/WebPublisher PRO cannot be accessed in this way." So it appears that IE is stripping the AC="QBE_QUERY" before it gets to the results page.

By the way the search works fine on VISTA when it is not in an iFrame.

Any thoughts? I figure it is some setting in IE.

Okay realized when the page is open it does not show it in the Intranet zone in the bottom right corner of IE. Rather shows it as Unknown zone (mixed) and has Protected Mode: On.

So need to include the page in trusted sites to turn off protected mode.
