Hi, we have CS WebPublisher Pro running an intranet site and it looks fine in Firefox, Safari, Chrome and IE - on most machines. There are about four machines in the building where the forms used to display the query results are all left aligned and seem to have lost their CSS settings, although the headings on the form, which also use CSS, are fine. We can't seem to find any differences between those that display properly and those that don't and reinstalling or resetting IE doesn't seem to have any effect. Has anyone come across this before? Any ideas? Thanks

It seems to be an Internet Explorer issue. It works in older versions of IE7 (specifcially 7.0.5730.11) but doesn't work in 7.0.5730.13 or IE8. We managed to break one that did work by upgrading to IE8. I'll keep you posted. Treasa

We had the same symptoms on two out of 50+ computers. It turned out that those two users had downloaded something called My Web Search. Included in this My Web Search is a toolbar called Smiley Central, which has something like 10,000 different smiley faces. I don't know if it was the smileys, or My Web Search as a whole, but as soon as that was taken back off the two machines, the problem went away.

Hope this helps.

The issue has to do with the User Agent string sent through by IE. If you have a user agent string larger than 250 characters, then it thinks your using an old IE version and does not use CSS.

Inmagic are currently looking into a way around the problem.
