Hi,
Sometimes when I delete a textbase (and I always use CSAdmin for this) the textbase name stays in the Textbase List, which I know means that the _InmTextbaseMap table is not getting updated. Today I carefully compared my CSAdmin textbase list with my SQL databases. There are over 50 textbases which I've deleted (and the SQL databases are gone, as are the Content Server files) but they remain in the textbase list. In particular, there's one file I recover every month, and then delete the original--all the old ones still appear in the list. I know how to edit the _InmTextbaseMap table to get rid of them, but I thought they were removed automatically. Has anyone else had this happen, or does anyone know why it would? I also have some cases where I've deleted textbases but only the Content Server files are gone; the SQL databases are still there and so is the _InmTextbaseMap entry. In two of these cases, the ghost textbases have names identical to current textbases. But I can tell which one is the real one and which one is the ghost by opening the current textbase and confirming its SQL Database name. I can't figure out why the deleting is so messy!!! Any insight is gratefully welcomed. |
