I'm having problems with an installation of CSWebPublisher Pro on a Windows 2003 Server running IIS 6.0. When I try do do a search I get the following error:

The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.

Please try the following:

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe that this request should be allowed.
Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your browser is spelled and formatted correctly.

HTTP Error 405 - The HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I've set up this sever the same way as two other servers and they both work fine. The error looks like there is a problem with the ics-wpd virtual directory. I've checked the configuration for this virtual directory and it is the same as the other servers that work.

Any ideas on what is causing this error?

Thank you.

Have you checked the settings for the Web Service Extensions in IIS? You'll need to allow ICSWPPRO.DLL (if you're using ISAPI) or ICSPCGI.EXE (if you're using CGI). You'll also need to allow ASP if you're going to edit records (which uses icsw-edit.asp).
