We just did an IE7 upgrade so I am not sure if this is related but I suspect it is...

When we open any of our thesauri through Maintain Thesaurus and try to do a search on a term we get the error message "Unable to access thesaurus." Additionally Mini-Browse Thesaurus search does nothing when a term is entered and searched.

Anyone else gone through similar grief with an IE7 upgrade. We are currently on version 1.3 of Content Server and I suspect version 10 will remedy this issue but is there anything we can do in the current version?

Thanks, Jennifer

Hi JennM

I am running CS vs 10 and IE 7 and have no problems in Maintain Thesaurus. (Though I am not sure what you mean by "mini Browse"?)

Set Up Workstation for CS/TextWorks (and DB/TextWorks) version 10.0 addresses the incompatibility between Maintain Thesaurus and Internet Explorer 7.0 by setting a specific registry key in the Internet Explorer section of the registry.

Note: To get the the Mini-Browse Thesaurus window, choose Maintain>Maintain Thesaurus from the CS/TextWorks menu, create a New thesaurus term or Edit an existing term, then click the Browse button next to the "Enter the term for the new relationship" box.
