On some of our validation lists, when we try to pick something, it won't let us pick that one, and "pastes" a different item instead. This is not happening on all items in a list.

What version of CS/TextWorks are you using?

What exact collation is shown in Textbase Information? For example:

SQL Database: '_InmTB_257'
Owner: 'Server\Username'
Collation: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

If your Collation doesn't start with "SQL_" then that may be what's causing the behavior you're seeing.

If your collation does start with SQL_, you may need to use Maintain>Edit Lists>Validation Lists to print your validation list to a file (Print List), delete the contents (Clear All), then load the file (Replace List with File).
