Our Library is planning to move from DB/Textworks to Content Server and SQL and we are exploring our options for installation. Our IT department has concerns about external vendors touching our hardware. Has anyone had their own IT department install CS or did IT at InMagic perform the install for you?

Your best bet is to set up a meeting (virtual or in person) with your InMagic consultant so they can walk your IT staff thru the install. It is not complicated and will take less than an hour to have it up and running on a test environment. Your consultant can also go thru how to set up automated backups and troubleshoot common issues.

We (our one-person IT department and I) installed it ourselves.
