Holiday greetings! I have a problem and don't know where to start. First, I have a staff database (CS) with a report form that provides a link to the person's CV and another link to their Publications. The CV is a static html page stored on the server; the Pubs is a real time search that pulls info from another CS database. Since the publications listed on the static CV page are not automatically updated, I've been asked to design a report form that will pull together both the CV file and the pubs search results, and display them on the same page. Then click on any of the links to see the display. Instead of both a "CV" link and a "Literature Citations" link, I need one link which will display both on the same page with just one click! I could import the CV data and make it part of the staff database, and then design a report to spit it out, but how do I get the canned search results, from the other database, to display automatically on the same report without clicking a link. Or, is there any other way to do this, such as force the search to run at the end of the static page.
Can anyone advise me?
