We are currently using Content Server 1.2 (but plan to upgrade to v9 very soon), and we provide read access to our textbases via the web. And we currently use Windows Authentication to limit access to specific groups of people in the company. Becausse of this, users are required to enter their login id and password (once per IE session). My question is: does anyone else use Content Server this way? And is there some workaround to the login requirement?

Hi ---

We have an Authentication Manager which can restrict access via IP address or IP range, or referring URL, or username/password. I'm guessing you'd want one of the former.

Thank you Peter, I will give this information to our IT department to see if this is a viable solution to our problem.
