I am getting the following error when I try to edit any validation or substition lists in one of my Content server databases:
SQL Server error(s): Error on 'SERVERNAME\ICS_MSDE': Invalid object name'.dbo._SubstitutionLists'. Any ideas? |

Okay I found out by looking at the tables in Enterprise Manager that the _SubstituionLists table was deleted. Thus the error message.
I recreated the _SubstitutionLists table and deleted the additional temporary tables that had been created as per Knowledge Base article 2506 using SQL Enterprise Manager. I also added CSErrorDump=1 to the textbase.ini and this has finally rectified the problem. Though I am still concerned about how the _SubstitutionLists table got dropped in the first place. The users do not have access to be able to delete tables. I am wondering if it is possible that a network connection got dropped while a user was updating a substitution list and this caused the table to be dropped. Jennifer |
