I ran service pack 6.0a over our intranet server which also runs DBText Spider. The Spider will no longer start and has the error...Could not start the DB/Text Intranet service.
This is ever so helpful...not! Does anyone have any ideas? I'm about to try a reinstall of DBText Spider, but I don't see why I should have to. Lorenzo |

My understanding is that NT Service Pack 6 involves enhancing security.
Try setting up the spider to Log On As an account other than System. Press the Startup button on the Services dialog in the Windows Control Panel. |
